Derrick was a joy to work with...he notices technique immediately and gave me some drills,etc to help me get in the right "groove" He uses analogies for me to understand this process. Derrick is so patient and really does a great job of teaching and breaking down the mechanics of the game. He uses the skills that I already had to make me better. He was able to make it fun yet I learned something everywhere week. He broke down my swing and grip and now I’m hitting it straighter and further than ever before. I really wanted to improve my short game and now I’m more comfortable tham ever. He was able to keep the attention of 8 women and make learning golf fun. I’ve had some odd years of experience of golfing and have only ever played with my husband. I signed up for the ladies sip and golf and it’s been so helpful learning from DC and others in the group. DC helps break down the golf game and the fundamental skills in an easy to learn fashion. My game has changed exponentially by taking lessons with him. I have really enjoyed my experience with DC Golf. I appreciate that Derrick tailors instruction to past athletic experiences (such as, my experiences playing basketball) triggering muscle memory. Derrick is knowledgeable about golf, and he is kind, compassionate, and a very patient instructor.

I joined Derrick Campbell’s Ladies Sip and Swing golf class and have had such a great time! Derrick is super easygoing, patient, and genuinely helpful, which makes learning feel comfortable instead of intimidating. I’d absolutely recommend this class to anyone looking for relaxed, unstuffy golf instruction. The price is more than fair too, especially since the classes are an hour and a half and a lot of the time is actually spent out on the course. Such a fun way to learn and improve your game!

Just starting golf and learning every aspect; I find that Derrick explains the process thoroughly and is open to any question. Last year I bought lessons for my grandson and both his dad and I participated. Even his dad who has golfed several years was impressed with pointers he learned from Derrick.
