ON-COURSE GOLF COACHING
Learn how to play smarter, score better, and manage your game.
A playing lesson takes your coaching beyond the practice area and onto the golf course. Work directly with Derrick under real playing conditions while improving your decision-making, course management, shot selection, routines, short game, and scoring strategy.
REAL GOLF. REAL DECISIONS.
The driving range cannot show you everything costing you strokes.
Golfers often spend most of their practice time working on their swing, but scoring depends on much more than ball striking. Your strategy, routines, club selection, target selection, emotional control, and ability to recover from mistakes all influence the final score.
During a playing lesson, Derrick can see how you actually approach the game and help you make better decisions while those situations are happening.

MORE THAN A SWING LESSON
What we can work on during your round.
Course Management
Learn where to aim, when to be aggressive, when to play safely, and how to avoid turning one mistake into several.
Club and Shot Selection
Choose the right club, trajectory, target, and type of shot based on the situation instead of automatically reaching for the same option.
Pre-Shot Routines
Build a repeatable process for assessing the shot, committing to a target, setting up correctly, and swinging with confidence.
Trouble and Recovery Shots
Learn how to handle trees, rough, uneven lies, restricted swings, difficult angles, and other situations that cannot be recreated easily on the range.
Short Game and Putting
Improve shot selection around the green, distance control, green reading, putting strategy, and your ability to avoid unnecessary three-putts.
Scoring and Mental Control
Develop a better response to bad shots, reduce rushed decisions, and stay committed to the next shot instead of carrying mistakes through the round.
